The passion behind Bella Vita by Leonardo; testimonial by Nisala Appuhamy, the Executive Chef and OwnerBella Vita by Leonardo was born out of my passion to serve and provide customers the opportunity to experience authentic Italian cuisine. Because I wanted to do what I liked and enjoy my life, I transported Italian delights from Verona to Sri Lanka. My 21-year stay in Italy began in 1996, when I took a job at a family restaurant in the medieval city of Verona. I went on to work in four more hotels around town, all of which were managed by excellent chefs. I spent my leisure time doing part-time jobs in over ten restaurants, learning practically every aspect of Italian cuisine. On our road to success, we hope to become the best Italian restaurant in Sri Lanka undoutedly.
